open air campaigners

"Open Air Campaigners" is a name that needs some explaining.

"Open Air" means that a greater part of our work is outside. It is out in the open! We go out to the streets and market places, to the cities and villages, to the camp sites and festivals to preach the gospel. (We also preach and teach in Church of course.)

The term "Campaigners" means to make a concerted, forward moving effort, drive or crusade to achieve something. Like a campaign to win votes in an election or to take a city in battle. Our campaign is that of the "good fight" to bring the gospel to the lost.

So, the name "Open Air Campaigners" means going out to where the people are, fighting with all His energy, power and passion to bring the gospel to the lost.

It is also our passion to challenge and equip the saints for the work of reaching our lost world.

Open Air Campaigners is a mission organisation that began in Australia in 1892. Open Air Campaigners is part of Open Air Campaigners International, working in over 20 countries world wide.
